Vaccination (insemination) applied to patients who can not get pregnancies by natural means is a common method. Special medicines are used to enlarge a few of the eggs and lay eggs at the appropriate time by making a cracking needle.
The sperm is also prepared in the laboratory at 36 hours following the procedure. Among the sperm, the fastest ones are selected and they are delivered into the uterus with the aid of a thin catheter. The success rate of non-narcotic inoculation therapy is 15% – 20%.
Vaccination is applied to patients with unexplained infertility, women with ovulation problems, women with abnormal cervical structures, and men with a slight concentration or movement problem in the number of sperm.
Stages of vaccination:
Growing of the Ovaries
1 or 2 eggs are developed naturally or with medication. It takes 10-12 days from the start to the end of the treatment. The purpose of growing eggs in vaccination is to increase the chances of pregnancy.
Spermin Preparation
The aim here is to sort out the sperm with the best speed. Rapid sperms are separated from sperm that are slow, immobile or dead and are brought into a state suitable for vaccination.
Vaccination (Insemination) Procedure
Sperm samples are taken 2 hours before the procedure. Because the sperm is prepared first in the vaccination process. With the help of a tool called speculum, the mouth of the cervix is made visible and there is no pain or suffering. Inoculation without the need of anesthesia is also given to the uterus (endometriuma) through the cervix by means of a soft cannula.
