A beard transplant is a hair restoration procedure in which hair grafts are extracted from the neck, chest, arms or legs, and planted into the beard.
Prior to the procedure, a beard analysis is performed to investigate the size of the area that contains the baldness, and how much grafts are required. A beard analysis will also determine location of the grafts to be extracted.
Local anaesthesia is injected into the extraction site. The grafts are removed with the aid of a micro motor. The grafts separated in 1 li and 2 li numbers and kept in a special solution.
The beard line of the patient is determined by evaluating the beard and current beard condition. With the approval of the patient, individual channels are opened with the same direction and angle as the natural growth of the beard.
When the beard is in the stage of sowing, the grafts are kept in the special solution. The grafts are kept in the special solution until sowing time.
Preoperative care
Almost 1.5 to 2 weeks after a beard transplant, planted beards are poured. It takes 1-2 months after these spills to come out again. However, these emerging beards are not enough to cover the skin. This should take at least 6-7 months. Of course, these times may vary from person to person. The planted beards are fully developed for 1 year.
